Meridian Studio
An architecture practice whose work was quietly better than its portfolio suggested.
The problem
Meridian photographed buildings the way most practices do, which made twenty years of distinctive work look like everyone else's. Awards juries were the audience, and juries scan.
What we did
We set an art direction that frames their buildings the way they are actually experienced, plus a motion language for competition films that holds up muted on a laptop in a boardroom.
Where it landed
Two shortlistings in the first year with the same body of work, differently seen.
